I was driving up towards twizel and just on the approach to Omarama noticed the moon rise. had to take a quick shot.

Another cracking photo Robbon. Great capture of the subtle colours of the sky and mountains.
Just spoke to friends in NZ this morning, they say it looks like the drought may have finally broken (sounded like it too!).

not for us !

We hit 28 degrees yesterday and its pushing a good 26 today. This is equivalent to October in the UK. I am not complaining yet but for us in central otago its actually not been as dry a summer as previous. The North Island are suffering though.

still it will start snowing for us in a few weeks time ! :D
