Am new and would love to share my Nikon P500 pics. Am a fairly new photographer, mostly of nature
at the moment.

I would suggest you read this topic Christina.

Posting images and guidelines

If you have a Flickr account, go to share above the image and copy the code. Then paste it in your message.

Note that there are boards dedicated for sharing pics under Photography showcase, discussion and Assignment. I'd look to put it in a thread there or start a new thread.

If you need further help on how to post your pics please ask us.

I had a quick look at work. Some good photos there Christina.

These comments are meant to help you.

I noticed you removed some gator photos. Gator 2 and gator 3 look overexposed to me. The birds look nice in your photos. In the seagulls photo your horizon is not level. If you have any software you can put it straight and your photo will look much better.

I didn't think it as disturbing, because of the diagonal that the edge of the sea makes. In any case, the horizon is not a straight line, it is slightly bent (I hope)

Thanks for the advice, I only have photshop cs2. Wasn't really focusing on the horizon though, more on the seagulls. They were hovering over my head when my aunt and I were eating McDonald's at the beach. lol It was early morning. As for the gators, I was zoomed almost all the way out, so there's a little bit shakiness going on there, not just from the camera, but I don't have vary steady hands to begin with.

Part of the reason as well, that the horizon and the lining of the waters isn't straight, is the direction I was sitting on the beach

Christina. Regarding the camera shake on the croc, I would suggest increasing the ISO which will give you a faster shutter speed at the same F number you choose. Do a test at full zoom and see how high the camera will go with ISO without inducing noise. Keep shooting.

Cheers
