nice one Rui, love that Janern. Good shot.

Plenty of ducks around at times, but they are pretty flighty and its hard to get close, about to get worse Duck season opens next weekend.

This time, the hybrid cinnamon/blue-winged teal gave me much closer poses in better light:

Last Sunday was a nice day in England so went out to the local park. Here are some ducks that I shot that day.

Very nice Cujo - you got some good duck shots in there - the first mallard shot is really nice - perfect light, good detail.

BTW, I also wanted to mention to Rui on the wood ducks (missed those the first time around) - wow! Beautiful ducks, and beautifully captured.

My first pics, so please be gentle. Worked out how to make best use of the polarizing filter when out on the narrowboat taking endless pics of ducks. Can't believe the difference it makes!

Now if I could just figure out how to take better pics from a moving boat.......these were all taken when moored, so only the ducks might move
