I went to Hong Kong for 2 weeks in January. Here are some photos from my holiday. All comments are welcome. Click on a photo to see them in a bigger size and for full EXIF information.

The Golden Bauhinia is the national flower for Hong Kong.

Before I went to Hong Kong I bought myself a gorillapod to take better night photos. These three photos were taken with the gorrilapod.

The side of the building is constantly changing colours. It took a few tries to get two different colours in the photo.

Not a very good photo but handheld during the Symphony of Light in Tsim Sha Tsui. It's worth going to watch this I think.

Interesting set, #3 for me has the most contrast and natural colours, I like the building reflection in the water.

Thanks for your comments. Photos 1 and 2 were in cloudy conditions, in photo 3 the weather was sunny. Also Hong Kong has a lot of smog which affects the visibility. Thank you for your comments.

Thank you Pierovera. A good tripod helps a lot when doing longer exposures. If I now look back at the photos I took in New York the difference is day and night.

I was there with my girlfriend Phil. I don't think she would have appreciated it if I was taking photos of Alamby.

These pictures are too good, that try to highlight the true pictures of Hong Kong. It has strong historical back ground that attract most visitors and tourists.
