We have had incredible weather recently with sunny days and warm evenings, the last couple of nights high cloud rolls in early evening and at about 9pm the sun sets...

Who can ignore this...

Wow! Impressive photos. The sky literally looks on fire - like the flames on a gas grill.

You can never get sick of Mother Nature. :)

lol @ WM

The more I look at that last shot, the more I like it as my fave! Looks like a ribbon of lava running from a distant eruption. 8)

Happens too frequently with me, but rather in the form that I'm like, "This would be an amazing photo", and then I look around for my camera and surprise: I forgot it :?

Rob, I hope you don't mind me adding this here. This was the sunrise yesterday morning over Lake Michigan near Jacksonport, Wisconsin. Days are short here right now, and it was a few minutes after 7 am when the sun finally decided to show up, and then it was to a sky full of clouds. f/5, 1/30 sec. ISO-100 - Canon Powershot SX 150 IS

Sorry to all - I edited this and cropped it just slightly to center it a bit more and straighten the horizon, however when I copied it to post here, it keeps posting the original. I will try to fix it when Photobucket is working again.

Great set robbon, the sky really does look like it's on fire.

Good shot XNavy, that wall of fire  . I think that I might have been tempted to crop out the foreground and make more of a pano out of it.

Thanks for the idea Arthur. I tried cropping it a bit today, and on Photobucket, it shows the cropped picture. But when I tried to post it here, the original showed up again. That also happened on another picture I posted today so I will wait and see if they post correctly tomorrow. I'll try cropping the snow out tomorrow.

I wonder if clearing your browser's cache might help.
