A Canon EOS 7D. Should be in tomorrow if I am lucky. Can't wait to put my new EF 100-400 on it and try to shoot some more wildlife :).

Been lurking for a while -first post. Following the reviews and opinions on this site I've just taken delivery of a Canon EF50 f1.4 and the EF100 Macro L f2.8 IS.

Haven't used the 50mm yet but a few practice shots with the 100mm are promising.

Well I heard that the 100/2.8 Macro L IS USM is absolutely brilliant (still very high on my own want list too). The 50/1.4 I am not so sure about. Probably the quality will be fine, but some tests I saw aren't all that great.

I'll have to take some shots with the 50/1.4 to see. Compared to the other Canon lens i've bought the cost was reasonable. Of course it is not L quality glass! Time wil tell.

Looking forward to your experience with the 50/1.4. It's a lens that I have been considering as well.

The 100L is a most excellent lens! :) Congratulations!

My 100L was my first L lens purchase, and is the lens I use to test every Canon DSLR I acquire, as it is so sharp and clear. One of my cantankerous 7D cameras will miss focus with most lenses, but works well with the 100L, with no micro-focus adjustment needed; this 7D/100L combo records most of the evidentiary images I shoot at work.

Welcome to the forums, Mac! Enjoy your new glass, I'm envious!

I just picked up a couple of NZXT blue LEDs for my PC case. I think until I get my PC fully spec'd out that's where most of my money will go, then I'll start saving for a 70-200 f4, which looks like nothing short of a phenomenal lens.
