:? One of the things on my Nikon i miss on my NEX-5 is time laps.Dose Sony have time laps on any other NEX??

How can i replay long bursts of images? If i take say 100 images in 3 or four files how can i watch them as a slow movie or quater second an image slid show?

How do you transfer say 30 images without transfering & deleating one by one as i do now

Perhaps more important When i have images taked over a week or more, then take say 20 images in rapid multi image mode, can i skip past that block when reveiwing single shots?Or should i transfer all images before rapid imaging????

Sonys a very good system,

The NEX-6 has wifi connectivity, and through Sony's PlayMemories Apps available for purchase, they have a Time Lapse feature for $10. It allows for adjustable time lapse settings in video or stills shooting, with variable intervals and length of shooting time up to 940 frames or so. Any of the Sony NEX cameras that are wifi compatible in the future will also have access to this same app.

Android app?Ill look after this, ill put in "sony NEX time laps" see if it finds it.

I use a Nikon F3 as i have lots of very good lenses for Nikon-with NEX adapter.I also use a Leica 111(Russian FED copie?Or did Leica copy the FED?)For some time i wanted a Leica M3 or Leica CL but they cost a FORTUNE.

I decided digi has arrived  8) And decided to buy a second hand NEX 7.BUT they cost MORE on ebay.de than the full new price at several local shops in Switzerland(Its christmas/new year)The least expensive is 1090Sfr(800€) for the body and 50€ extra with 18/55mm

I thoght the NEX 7 would be discounted 50% :(

Dose the NEX 7 have wi-fi?

At those prices (around 1200€ on ebay.de) the NEX 6 look to be a bargin? And i really need a veiw finder to use my Nikon & Voitlander lenses full time.

I dont want to wait another year for a discounted NEX 6.I wonder if dealers have bough the old NEX 7 stock and are looking for idiots to pay the full price on ebay.?
Or will the NEX 7 be discounted as the NEX 3 was and recently the 5N??

I also looked at the fuji system camera :(

At about 500€ for a Leica CL with 40mm it half the digi system camera price

Only the newer models have the wifi - the NEX7 and NEX5N are both last year or before, and neither one has wifi, so the apps will not be available for those models. The NEX5R and NEX6, and whatever follows the NEX7, will have wifi and can access the apps.

I believe of the various apps they have, one connects the camera to a smart phone so that it can be triggered remotely while viewing on the smart phone as an LCD - so you wouldn't need a remote if you had that app. Otherwise, just about any cheap $5 Opteka or other similar IR remote will work fine with the NEX models to trigger the shutter button.

Do you mean i could use a TV remote?Or any other IR remote?

I think sony have sold off the old NEX-7s looking at ebay, ive never seen so many "pros" selling equipment from full RRP and up.I hope the sony store i bought my first will discount.I cant see many wanting to pay more for the NEX-7 then the new 6.

My NEX5N is really good but i dont want to add a viewfinder as they cost a fortune

 Just looked for a "cheap $5 Opteka" first i saw was 99$.I see you didnt mean a TV IR,so back to ebay where i found an IR for around 7$ with p&p

Yeah - looks like prices went up a bit - they're running $7 to 10 right now. Just make sure you're looking for remotes that are specifically made for Sony NEX or Alpha. Any old IR remote won't work (though some 'learning' type TV remotes can be programmed to work on cameras).
