Either TNT's tracking service is pretty bad, or their delivery estimate is way off. The site says my iMac is still in Shanghai, yet it is supposed to be delivered today. I hope it is due to their 2-day break on 12/31 and 1/1, but am definitely starting to worry that I won't be able to play with my new computer over the weekend.

$#&@*!%!!! :x I got my camera back from Nikon about 3 weeks ago after it was in the repair shop for over a month because off camera flash wasn't firing properly. It wasn't until now that I tried out CLS to make sure it was working, and lo and behold, it's still not firing properly. Well, back to Nikon in Montreal for another 5 weeks...

I know how you feel, Evan - it was exactly the same with my darn 5D2 last summer. It returned from the repair shop with defects four times!

Probably it is because of the break, I ordered my Canon T3i just before christmas and it has been delayed because of the 24-25th break and now again because of the 31-1st break. Still waiting for it to arrive :|

My Voigtlander 90mm lens is still in a US Postal sorting facility in Columbus, Ohio, after being mailed by the evil-bay seller the morning of December 30, 2012, at a post office in the same city. It took three days to be electronically scanned at a sorting facility within the originating city, on January 2, when it should have been delivered to Texas by January 2! I understand packages taking an extra day to reach my outlying post office, from the North Houston sorting facility, but to spend three days within its originating city is certainly disappointing for a Priority Mail package, even with New Year's Day holiday occurring.

Even so, I prefer sellers that ship via the US Postal Service, as fraud via mail is investigated by a federal law enforcement agency, with an office near my office. Even if Paypal and my credit card company fail to resolve the problem, I can get some satisfaction through the criminal justice system.

I really should not be so negative. Think happy thoughts...

probably should avoid ebay and US postal service all together.... I know for a fact that its the worst postal service in the world next to China Post...

I usually only buy pre-owned lenses when I have handled them, personally, first, but with discontinued lenses that were never common, such as this Voigtlander 90mm, this is not always possible.

According to USPS tracking service, the lens finally left Columbus this morning, January 3.

When I order from Adorama and Amazon, they ship UPS.
