OK well i am not a professional photographer and this is only the second car i have been asked to take some shots of.

The car owner is a friend from work and he was over the moon with he results of the photo shoot. Even though the setting was not the best. I have told him i have some ideas of where we should get the next photo shoot done.

Nice car though !

comments welcomed.

Nice shots and nice car! I like the post-processing, it looks nice. It's HDR, right?

Hi pier, yes they are HDR. I try to use the tone mapping in canon's own dpp, then I switch to lightroom and do the usual cropping, tonal adjustments, color and sharpening etc.

It looks like folks in NZ don’t like driving mini’s or ford.

Cheers

Excellent series Rob. Not keen on that last one, but the others are great. Love the PP'ing. 8)

Guess it's just me, and of course, no offense, but I think they are very nice pictures of an ugly car... I do like the red Corvette much better. :) But wow, what I couldn't buy with the money spent on that car! Maybe gray just isn't my color!
What did the inside look like Rob? I am betting that it is a pretty sweet ride...

Actually the interior was a little dated and there was a smell of petrol!

It's not my cup of tea but my surname is bond. No joke. So ..well...it's a bond car...i had to have a go.

Great shots Rob. Like the HDR, I think it works well with cars, as for the last one, I quite like it, a bit dark overall perhaps, but not bad.

What can I say... you did well with what you had to work with. :P And it might not be my first choice for a yard decoration, but given the chance, I would have tried it out too. Hm, helicopters and fast cars...I wonder what gadgets you'll pop up with next Mr. Bond. :)

It could be....

1) there are too many poms in NZ?
2) they only keep the good kiwis and export the bad ones?
3) they are trying to spread the word that NZ is way way way better than OZ. And that this is just
an extended holiday?
