I wasn't sure what wildlife thread category this silly guy would fit in, so I had to give him his own thread. This peaceful, slow, strange beast can be found in central and south America - this one was photographed in Costa Rica, and let me walk right up to him with my NEX mirrorless - of course, if he did feel threatened, you'd barely notice - it took the animal a minute to climb 2 feet up the branch!:

Seeing another one high up in the treetops. working its way from one tree to another through the canopy, I couldn't help think how much they look like a child in a zippered suit:
