Camera Labs

I finally decided to buy this camera with the 12-50 lens. So let's see now how it performs. So far it's light, fast and easy to use. Photo's will follow.

Some first impressions:
- When the screen is off, pushing OK will open the SCP (super control panel), when the screen is on, the other menu (with side and bottom controls) will open. This surprised me, because in the reviews it is mentioned that the SCP is far away in the menus.
- Face detection works quite good, but when I look at the photo's later in the camera, the focus point (green rectangle) is not on the eye. The face seem in focus though.
- the 12-50 lens seems OK, but I still have to review on my computer.
- to mount the flash you have to remove 3 covers, that's a bit annoying.
- WB is better then on my E500 before.
- the shutter is quiet.

So far I'm happy.

You can tweak in the menu so that OK button will bring up SCP every time.
