I was watching a live stream yesterday of somebody pricing out the "Ultimate PC Build" on Amazon. The total came out to about $20 000, including 64GB of 2800 MHz RAM, 6 27" IPS monitors, 6TB worth of SSD space, and a 5DIII and 24-105 as a webcam :)

Actually he went for dual 690s. But the performance difference between quad 680s and 2 690s is so minimal, they'll both seemingly give you a million fps from games to regular usage

A million FPS? I think that first we'll have to develop a vision that will be able to take in so many frames

Backing up 308-GIG worth of pictures before heading out. One of my goals while gone is to clean out the non-keepers and any of my military photos that have been edited, toss the originals then reorganize them all.

I'm off to Yamba tomorrow morning for Christmas, hope to get a shot for this months assignment, something I saw last time down there whilst having a beer at the pub. I'll take my laptop but not sure if I will use it, so merry Christmas to all members. :D

Cheers
