I'm only slightly jealous that you met Peter Gabriel (well I'm green with envy but there you go). I've seen him live 3 times. There was a possibility he'd be joining the Genesis tour this year but it fell through. Hopefully he'll tour with them again at some stage.

I forgot how much I used to love Stevie Wonder. Sir Duke was always one of my favorites!

I finally ordered music through itunes for the first time; the "Crack and Crevices" EP, by Meghan Arias, and Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite," Columbia Symphony, 1945 recording, conducted by Stravinsky himself.

(Bumping this thread back from purgatory.)

Music from game called Double Dragon Neon, best videogame 80's parody I've played. Awesome cheesy 80's styled music fit for a montage.

First time I've seen this thread so here we go:

Chris Tenz - Forlorn Memories

This guy is great and he gives away his first album, Forlorn Memories, for free, and for you audiophiles like me, he gives it away in FLAC format here. IMO, he's amazing :D

Have been listening to Doris Day non-stop for the last months, mixing in some Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Vic Damone from time to time. All of it perfect music for processing digital images into black and white photos that look at least a little vintage (a purist like myself would not do too much to make it seem vintage, of course).

Too many songs to list, but my desktop plays can be found here: http://www.last.fm/user/vansinttruije
