Whilst Flickr has been good to me it doesnt work that well with google plus and now that i have my new phone at work and i am a lot more mobile and dont care much for BookFace (!) im moving more in to G+ but Flickr doesnt seem that compatible and as such i am thinking of moving my photostream to Piccassa.

Anyone had similar thoughts or already gone through this process and have any tips ?

The thing I don't like about Picasa is that they "only" give you 1GB for free. As opposed to some other places that you don't care much for which give you unlimited storage for free. On the plus side, images under 800x800 (which would be fine for posting inline here) don't count toward Picasa's limit, and the overall maximum file size is 20MB and 50MP.

but has anyone tried uploading Flickr photos on to google plus ?

is there a short cut way of doing it ?
