This is a shot of the loading dock of a local warehouse. The warehouse is over a block long. The main building is on the right, with a covered roof, and access on the left originally used to allow the workers to load goods directly into train cars. The train no longer runs along the building, but the building is still used.
This picture was taken with a Canon Powershot SX 150 IS (F/5.6, exposure 1/320 sec., ISO-80, 60 mm)

Hi Elbeasto,
I've never been to Sydney. Nice picture! Are those apartments?

I found this abandoned building at the end of a dead end road about 2 weeks ago. I believe that maybe it was some kind of train bridge. I only had a few minutes to check it out, but plan to return soon to try to figure out what it was used for. It is on the Fox River.

Thanks mate, it's just the city - office buildings, hotels etc. :)

Sorry, I wasn't very specific. I meant out on the piers. Are the piers built just for housing? Or are they stores sticking out into the water? At least around here, I haven't seen housing out on a pier like your pictures suggest. I do enjoy the skylines you've been posting.

Pier One used to be an amusement area and I think there's at least one that serves as a small theatre.
Not too sure about the others. :)
