Hi I have a D5100 & am having great difficulty getting crisp action shots under floodlights & was hoping someone might be able to give me a little advice on what settings I should change to improve my results.

Well you'd need to give us an example or two, or at least let use know the shutter speed, lens and focal length, aperture and ISO you're shooting at
