As you can see, I only took the top off this one, so as most of the egg was still in the shell - I just had this for lunch. Waste not want not :D

The egg was shot with an air rifle and a flat head (paper punching) pellet.

Thanks for answering, I don't really understand the smoke trail behind the pellet, that's why I though you used some kind of firearm :|

There's always oil somewhere in an air rifle and the sudden massive pressure release when the pellet is fired vaporises some of that oil and shoots it out of the barrel along with the pellet. So it's basically oil vapour.
