Well, Khol: The car certainly is a classic.
As to your shots, the second one lacks some isolation from the background. Open the aperture and shoot with shorter shutter-speed. Also either get really down to the ground to get rid of the forest in the background or raise your point-of-view so that only the water shows as background (like in the first shot).
The reflection on the car-body is very nice though on both shots.

Lovely looking vehicle!

I think we need a still life section...

Oh yes, that car was really a blast when i first saw it.
And the owner had parked it in a good pose so i shot a few....

Thomas: Thanks for your input. It's really good to hear from someone more experienced.

One problem (i think) with the first picture is that even tho i got a descent background, the picture is somewhat washed out due to the strong light from the water. I should maybe have put a -1/3 EV on that image or something, or i should have shot in RAW (which i stupidly didnt).

The second image is much better. The reflections is just so cool. To bad about the background, i agree with you on that point. The smallest aperture with my lens i think is 5.6 at 72mm. Maybe that would isolate the car even more. I should have stand closer to the car, but i'm a little bit shy and i didnt wanna upset the owner

obviously its easy to see why I like the second shot more. Better exposed, and is composed of something other than 'just' a car . Great shot for no.2

very nice pix's of a classic car........ the second for me, but my only comment with be to blur the background, which is easy in PP, to make the car separate from the surrounds making it stand out more.......

i'm a big PORCHE fan! i love that car!

I like the first one a lot cause of the play of light at the right side of the car and the second is nice too cause of the angle that you took the shot,

Naah. I made a daytrip to Arlanda. Thought i might get some nice aeroplane-pics. But it was so damn windy so i went to the "Våfflan" café in Sigtuna to get me a good cup of fresh coffe.

And there it was. Nicelly posed and everything on the pier. Got a few shots.

Sometimes things just happens. And luckily for me i had the camera this time.
