Some good entries so far - well done Thomas - but I really like oldcarlos interpretation of sunset. Nice one.

I agree, his photo is great. That background is stunning.

Hi Kirsty. To post your image from flickr, grab the BB code (under `share`) Just before that though, the dropdown box below it, click on Medium, either 640 or 800.

Re finding your exif data. Most of the free progs like Picasa etc show the data (useful for pics not uploaded to flickr) but on flickr, when you click on one of your pics, top right under your username it says `This pic taken on ?? date using a canon eos 50D. If you click on the camera model it shows you exif.

eg, yours was; 1/130th sec, F4, 50mm, ISO 200, -1EV.

Thank you so much for your very helpful guidance - I just tried the thumbnail upload in the original post and it worked! Thanks also for pointing me in the right direction regarding how to locate the picture information...

You're very welcome. I'm probably the least techie person on this site (maybe even the world  ) so glad I could help. I've only been shooting digital for 2 years & still trying to grasp, let alone retain, all the info. :?

Damn clouds... the first half of October it snowed and sleeted, and for the past week it's either rained or just been a dreary overcast. Hopefully I'll get at least ONE clear day this month to get a few sunset/sunrise shots.
