Looking forward to your report and some snaps. May apply for a track permit at some of this winter's best in the desert races. Have fun!

Beautiful sunrise here in Mexico City, it's just amazing :D
If sunrises are allowed for this month's assignment, I think I've got my shot :D

EDIT: Oh wait, they are allowed, yay :)

Finally got my new desktop build figured out - now I just need the money to fund it.

Few months ago, after having read this enormous post, I decided to buy the XKDUN CP-700 earphones.
http://www.head-fi.org/t/579727/mysterious-focalprice-iems-amazing-impressions-and-comparisons-inside
As an audiophile on a budget, after having owned some other more expensive earphones, both headphones and IE, Ive come to the conclusion these phones are really better than some $60 phones.
At 16 Ohm, theyre really easy to drive by all mp3 players, and the quality is simply great.
The build quality too is very good, if, yes if, you buy the black ones. The white ones are a bit less well built.

If youre not happy with the sound (it's a V-shaped sound), simply bump-up the midrange a bit and there you go.

Recommended to everyone! And at a few bucks theyre a steal.

I'm really surprised. Back in May I tore up my Sigma 18-125 filling it with dust. I cried to Sigma that I did this in the Army using my personal lens for busniess and they said "don't worry, send it to us and you'll be surprised what we can cover under warranty." Nope, no help, I paid for the repairs, $170.00 on a $320.00 Lens. No prob I knew it was my fault. Then at the Balloon Fiesta it started going downhill. The OS (optical stabilization) went hey-wire. I looked at my receipt from the repair, yep it was past the 90-day repair guarantee. I sent it in, but surprisingly they did fix it with no charge. Thanks Sigma

Is it normal practice to respond to "Bid" with an email asking how much I want? Isn't that like answering a question by asking another question? Cause that's what's happening to me, and it annoys me

:D :D Just ordered my free Tosiba L850/040 laptop, they say delivery is 1st Nov. Not sure if I need it, my core 2 seems to run fast enough except for elements 8.

Cheers

A possible 70-200 f4 Nikkor being announced today? Assuming it's in the $1300-$1400 price range, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.
