Many thanks piero and rob!
Piero: About the water in #5....I'm not entirely sure why it turned such a deep brown. That picture, along with the ones of the red rocks, were taken at the Bay of Fires. The brown water actually looks like a small stagnant river from the beach:

I think that it's turned so brown from the soil towards the forest, and the rocks. Don't quote me on that though. The red on the granite boulders is actually from lichen...it turns bright red and orange from rain. Pretty neat huh?
Rob: Had great weather, except for my first day there. Was pretty rainy, and too bad bc since visibility was low, some of my shots from that day weren't as nice as they could have been. #1 is from that day though. I agree with the HDR, but I'm not really sure how to do HDR yet...since I only have a work laptop out here, I haven't gone too much into PP except for the RAW software that came with my camera. This being the case, I haven't gone out and purposely shot all different exposures of the same scene. Plus...no tripod yet, soon though! Don't really want to travel with one.
BTW, all booked and ready for NZ, and booked the overnight Doubtful Sound cruise! Flying out Sunday, pretty excited
