Ooh, this assignment is lovely! Perhaps one of my favorite subjects to shoot are sunsets, so this should be interesting.
By the way, is it a sunset-exclusive assignment, or do sunrises count as well? Thanks :)

Hmmm... no fitting weather here. I wanted to shoot the sunrise this morning but... well...

OK, next try within the next few days.

I agree with pierovera. This will be a popular one. I expect the boys and girls in warmer climes to come in with those BIG suns so often see through the haze in such places. Me, I just like sunrises and sunsets. Glorious colours. Thomas Richards has already done a special with as iconic (much overused term but really applicable here) an image as you could wish for. Here's hoping for a big entry - with most of us piling in at the last minute, waiting until then in case one more chance of a great pic offers itself.

Great subject.

Well - I could do some shots of the clouds we have here and just tell you there has to be a sunset behind it - according to my watch. :?

I've probably got my entry already, but I'll be like most and wait if I can get anything better, because you never know :)
