Sorry for the delay everyone, as a one-man operation I can only do one thing at once, so this one has been delayed, but I do want to investigate further and have spoken to Dalem about it.

Sorry for not replying sooner.
And apologies for anyone who does not understand this thread, anyone who has followed the thread prior to it being on hold will understand who the thread is about.
Well the accusations keep on coming.
The latest attack from them and I quote from an email from them.



The online seller has been contacted by myself and as a result if I do not hear from them with a satisfactory explantion of their libellous accusations. I will be taking legal action.

In the meantime I am unable to give further information about their ridiculous remarks.

Will keep updated as soon as I can.

btw, i've noticed lots of excellent/over the top? reviews on them seem to have appeared recently. Hmmmm.

Yes, I've noticed that the review sites most used that anyone can login and review them regardless of whether it is genuine reviews or NOT and regardless of whether there has been any purchase.
I don't trust review sites like that as they are so easy to fake the reviews. Makes me wonder how many of the reviews are genuine.
People will wise up to the cowboy sellers eventually, it's only a matter of time.

That's why you go to other smaller sites that aren't so mainstream to check for reviews, I am 99.99% sure that companies won't get their hands into those places, they only go to really popular places.
And I'm not trying to defame Cameralabs or anything, rather it's the opposite, but here I think that it's a smaller community and all reviews are trustworthy and whenever there is something weird, it's really easy to spot.

Anyone been following this thread will know who this concerns:
It seems like they are up to their dirty tricks again. Some poor guy bought a new 5D MK II from them that had a shutter count of 1500!!!
Didn't want to give him a refund and accused him of being a 'delusional customer'

It won't be long before the 1* reviews, are pushed off the page by the over the top 5* reviews.

What I don't understand is, why have they not been prosecuted? Trading Standards (amongst others) must have many complaints about them.

Thanks for sharing that post dalem, looks like there are more and more cases regarding those things.
I'm concerned that, as oldCarlos said, they haven't been prosecuted, many people might keep getting affected by them. I think the best we can do is spread the word about this things
