Hi folks,

As a welcome relief from the general visual and aural blare of Las Vegas I visited the Shark Reef Aquarium. Difficult lighting and no tripod meant there weren't many keepers but at least the photogenic, and neurotoxic, Lion Fish came out OK.

Nothing special so far as Lion Fish photos go but at least it has alerted me to a photographic resource I hadn't used up to now, namely aquaria. Worth a visit if you have one nearby.

Nice shot, but I think that due to the lighting, the shot didn't turn out so good

lionfish are sweet! i haven't tried shooting in an aquarium yet, i bet its tough. i know whenever i tried to take pictures before i got a dslr they would never come out right.

I think it's a really great shot, limited reflections and a great amount of detail and sharpness. Great effort.
