I loved working the fuel pad in Afghanistan and seeing all of the decorated fuel trucks. We call them "jingle trucks" because all the noise they make from the decorations hanging off of them. Saw some beautiful murals on the backs also.
They're known as jingle trucks here too, as well as in Afghan (we called them that at out place of work in Kabul too)
There's a whole fleet of water trucks with hand painted murals on the rear. These depict scenes from the artist's home country and a local photographer tracked down the artist and created a collage of his creations
