The Canon 40mm 2.8 pancake lens. Went to London as the first part of my holiday and wanted to buy a new bag, spare batteries and extra CF cards (as was going on a long trip with possibly limited access to power and computer storage/upload). While in the shop the excellent salesman (curse him) showed me the pancake and my fate was sealed.

Thank you very much! I'm just impressed with the low light performance. With my 500D I hardly ever used ISO 1600 because of too much noise. Now I use ISO 2500 for long exposures and there is hardly any noise visible!
Just impressive! (And the 5D3 in combination with the Sigma 12-24mm is just a LOT of fun )
