Just a few miscellaneous shots I've taken around the city and suburbs.

Brisbane's CBD by night:

I love the lighting in this building:

Does anyone know what type of spider this is? I HATE spiders, and these creepy little guys (well, some of them are not little) are all over the place here:

Disgusting!

Not the greatest quality, but still its a cool tree. There's a bunch of these in and around the city too:

Looks like a golden orb-weaver spider, non poisonous. Like snakes, leave them alone and they won't bother you. Whats your home town Adam.

Cheers

Thanks Robbon! I stlil can't really do much with night photography since I dont have a tripod. One of these days! That building with the xmas lights is indeed bendy, but I bet the beers helped a bit too  It's a brand new building, just opened 2 weeks ago. Ernst & Young I think?

Golden orb-weaver? Disgusting haha, I hate them! Their webs are pretty cool though. Original from this town Marlboro, in New Jersey (US). Living in Kangaroo Point in Brisbane for another two months, then back off to NYC where I permanently live now. I'm here working on a secondment. Great experience!

OK. I like the pictures. The pictures are nice... its the archetecture I dislike.

I'm going to be a party pooper here, Sorry.

I can't stand the asymetric designs that some modern buildings use. The lights are placed with absolute random half-ased-ness. The residential buidling has lumpy, random looking balconies. I could've drawn lines just as straight in preschool.

-end rant-

Thanks for sharing, though. I just had a pet peeve and vein blow from my forehead over building design.

Haha no worries...I actually like the design of them. It's different than I'm used to, and I think its cool to see people taking chances on constructing unique designs. Are you an architect or designer? Or just really into into architecture?
