What camera is better NIKOND7000 or Canon 60D ?Better quality imagem

Well that is a very open question, I don't think I can answer it without you giving everyone at least some information on what you shoot, in which conditions do you shoot, if you shoot video, and so on and so forth.
Personally (that might be my Canon obsession talking though) I think that the 60D is better, especially for shooting video.
If I could give you any recommendation right now is that if you shoot video, go with the 60D, it's a lot better, especially the flip screen (which personally I love ) and better image frame-rates. Also, the 60D has a 3:2 screen that will fit your pictures correctly. Another advantage of the 60D is that it has 2 extra megapixels, but in practice, it isn't too much of a difference.
On the other hand, the D7000 has a higher ISO range and better pictures at higher ISOs. It's viewfinder is superior given that it has 100% coverage while the 60D's doesn't. Also, it's focusing system is a lot better that the 60D's.

They are quite similar, but if you shoot at high ISOs, the Nikon D7000 is reasonably better.
By the way, image quality is mostly determined by the lens, not the sensor, especially when comparing these two cameras which have very similar image quality when it comes to the sensor.

Neither brand is "best". Only an ignorant fanboy with a self-serving interest would name the brand they use as the "best".

It's more a question of which brand/system works best for you as an individual, much of which can only be determined by you.

You should visit a CE or photography store and handle and use both cameras. You can't go wrong with either though you may prefer the feel of one over the other.

I preferred the way the Canon 550D felt over the Nikon D5000 but you shouldn't use that to influence you choice. In this instance don't focus on what we think of the brands but concentrate on how each camera feels to YOU - what works for us may not necessarily work for you.

...have the 60D there's no reason to change. The difference in image quality is not big enough to justify that extra work to change the equipment. The K-5 from Pentax has an even better image quality (and a better weather sealed body and built-in image stabilizer that works with any lens and a nice speed and...) - so what?

It's more important to use good lenses to fully use the quality of any sensor.

if you have a canon 60D .. dont change.

If you change to nikon then you have to change your lenses.

If you want to increase image quality - look carefully at your photos and understand more about why you feel a need to improve the quality. It could simply be a case of changing a setting on your existing camera set up.. ie moving from iso 800 to iso 100 or changing the in-camera image size from fine to superfine...

Make sure your lens is clean and do everything you can as a user to ensure the quality of the image is as best it can be.

Then start spending your hard earned money on lenses and improving the quality of the lenses..
