Nice shots there WestCoast. The Tbirds are quite photogenic against that sky, although I think I prefer the "dynamic" captured in the last shot.

Agreed, after awhile they all start looking like stagnant displays, unless you catch them with some zip.

Have to agree, the dynamic ones are really good although I also like #2

There is only so much you can do with a $500 lens shooting jets braking the speed of sound.
My assignment was focused on non-aerial displays, which is actually more interesting, especially after hearing all the whining from the guys who were all cramped up sitting in one spot all day.

I find shooting at Abbotsford tough because the entire Air Show is back lit. Very few areas in the sky that the plane isn't either a dark silhouette or the plane is bright and the background looks like white paper
