I really love your videos since they are more technical and help to decide buying than other fancy and fun video reviews we get. Please keep up the good work and continue it..

If Gordon doesnt see this, Ill answer the question for you (feel free, forumers, to correct!).
Gordon only earns money for the hand-written reviews. For the videos he doesnt get a single coin. And because he has so much work to do (look at all those reviews!) there too isnt too much time left for the quite time-taking videos.

Good Call. Exactly the way Camera Labs introduced itself to me. Looking at the videos, I am sure they take a lot of time to 'get it right' which Gordon certainly does. I submit though that there is no better way to get the word out- probably a good lesson for the bloggers out there. I have heard that youtube pays if you get some number of hits on your video- so there is hope yet. It is hard to imagine however publishing quality review videos in near real time with the rate of new camera releases.

PS - as a YouTube partner, I do get a small fee for the videos, but it's hardly anything at all.

The problem, as discussed in the other thread, is that it's currently hard to make videos pay, and as my business, the content needs to pay.
