I really like the reflection in the visor.

What gear did you use and what aperture/shutter speed did you set?

Unfortunately, I knew this would happen, someone asking for details, however, I am a very amateur photgrapher, never taken a clas, I am not familiar with the data , in fact I thought by coming to these types of forums I can learn or pick up a little bit..
I am sorry.. I can tell you is a Nikon D3100 with a 70-300 lens

No worries. I was able to find the details.

Were you aiming and shooting at the driver at a fixed point or were you tracking his/her movements?

The reflection is very cool, it's nice how you can see the steeringwheel and track ahead of the driver.

Ha, that I can answer..........
I was tracking her movements.
I will be shooting a Kart Race this weekend, I will post some shots in the next few days..

Nice! You've certainly got the idea of the panning. It gives a great impression of speed with the background being blurred with your lateral movement.
