Hello, I Found an old Jessops (Uk photography shop) Flashgun in the roof, It is a dual flash Thyristor Flash gun, I will try and post a photo of it on here at some point this week but here is a photo of one similar.

My Question is Will this be safe to use on my 60D? Because I have read articles saying that the Sync voltage, (or something like that) Could damage the cameras components? They said something about 240 volts on these old type flash guns?
I didnt realize a charge was sent back to the camera?

Ohh Yeah it was a pentax fit, is the canon mount different?

I have seen a list of working flashes and not workng ones. Maybe I have it in my link list on my other computer; I can look for it later on.

Well, there are only the 220TBZ and the 280ABZ in the list but as they both are not safe to use with EOS cameras, this 240TBZ probably won't either.

Thats a shame, I would have liked to have had a flash gun, Unfortunately Im not allowed to spend any more money on my camera
