A very difficult to source B+W 37mm Kaesemann Circular Polarising MRC Filter for my 14-42mm. Tiny little thing for quite a lot of money but I got hooked on Kaesemanns a few years back so it's good to be able to continue the tradition. 8)

Now if only the sun would shine: we've had a mixture of the dullest and wettest months on record in the UK over the last three months or so.

A super cheap printer/scanner for $29. Didn't come with a USB cable and the cheapest cable at the store cost half as much as the damned printer, lol.

You should look on eBay or -if I am not allowed to place the link, please delete it- www.dx.com
DX has everything and more you can ever wish, eBay should be more familiar though.

Just ordered a new Canon EOS 5D Mark II, which is what I should have done in March when I bought that troublesome second-hand camera! :P
The old one will be sent in for repair for a third time when the new one arrives. Any guesses what the repair people will screw up this time around? Or maybe third time's a charm?

After looking high and low, I've decided to retire my 2004 vintage mobile phone as I've had difficulty recharging it recently. Gone for a Motorola Defy Mini as it seems to be the best featured "budget" smartphone. Loved looking at the reviews for it, as it was universally hated by all the initial reviewers on the basis it was too expensive for too little. But forward a few months and the price is half what it was then, and the spec is more than up to others in its price class. And to keep things barely on topic, it has two cameras and I used the Amazon link. Other choices included low end Samsung (screen was very low resolution) and no-name Chinese models (I'm not brave enough...)

Seben 8-24mm zoom eyepiece via ebay link. Supposed to have t-threads on it so I can easily stick a camera on it later :)

Power supply in my comp went out, so bought a CoolMax 900W PSU which should arrive in a few days. Gotta use the spare laptop for a while I guess!

Google Nexus 7. Wow, is this thing ever smooth

Android 4.1 combined with a quad core Tegra 3 really makes this thing fly. And at $250, you can't go wrong.

2TB LaCie quadra USB3 external hdd + 8GB DDR3 for my MBP :) Still about $200 shy of a new 50mm f/1.4 but I'm in no rush.
