That was with Canon 15-85 with polariser on it. Not for any particular reason, I just left it on from use earlier and too lazy to take it off. That light is the evening sun.

I actually took a sequence of shots of the tree as I was debating doing HDR, but I haven't done anything with that yet. This one is a single shot with a little shadow recovery.
