Oh, I love that shot, Westcoast:
- colorful subject
- perspective that makes you feel close to it
- persons in the car: an element sorely lacking from many chrome-laden photos
- plus nice gesture, a lively element

The killer bonus would have been to capture this at slow(er) shutter speed while tracking the subject to give a feeling for movement.

That would have a high enthuses on "killer" as I was driving beside them and I got the shot off at a stoplight.
safety first Thomas.

That first one is nice Ivan but the second one one just needs squaring up a little.

Now that you put this Bugatti shots: This summer I've been to the Cité de l'Automobile (http://www.collection-schlumpf.com/en/schlumpf/) which has the biggest Bugatti collection. I took it very seriously: I charged all the batteries, emptied the cards, checked the quality settings, etc. And then I entered the museum. Well, I was so excited with all those beauties that I hardly did any acceptable photos. And then it is difficult, the backgrounds are very busy, lots of reflections in the paintwork (no polarizing filter yet :( ), lots of chrome and it's pretty dark, so de ISO is in haven (Do they do it on purpose??). Anyway... the only decent ones are these:

The Bugatti mascot, which I really wanted to photograph:

An old engine:

And my favorite mascot, the Hispano-Suiza (plus they had a factory in Barcelona):

I thought this was a classic line "begin your divorce online". No doubt Internet forums have led to several divorces.

Shot with the P90. In lr, the exposure was turned down a bit and red and yellow saturated a bit (see my 'review' m9 like). The red 60 Chevy next to the rat looks overcooked but the added red didn't change the image much. The sky reflecting off the red paint gives a great hue. Some of these cars have what appears to be paint made from chrome. The finishes are smooth and bright. Rat Rods go the other way however.
I want one.
