I was wondering if anyone else has tried using iPhoto for iOS yet? I bought it as soon as it was released and have been a little disappointed in it. The app doesn't honour the sorting that I've setup in my Aperture library. This is honoured by the main Photos app. This has put me off trying the other features of it. I have to say it does look great on my new iPad though.

It was one of the first apps I bought for my new iPad and I'm also disappointed in it. Have you tried Snapseed? I love the effects it produces with certain types of photos.

Another disappointed (former) iPhoto user here. I switched to FilterStorm.

I have Snapseed but don't tend to use the editing features. I am annoyed that Apple didn't fix the issues in iPhoto with the update they released a few weeks ago. Photo sorting is so fundamental to a photo app that it is a stupid oversight on their part.

I agree mate. Sometimes Apple really irritate me.
