I'm still playing with the HDR sauce but I'm liking some of the results.

Isle of Lewis - Scottish Outer Hebrides.

A very very very cool place. The day i took the shot it was massively overcast and i was originally very disappointed with the shots i captured. ihad to wait ages for people to move out of shot as its quite popular and was beginning to annoy my missus with the amount of time it was taking just to get one shot.

in the end i think i managed to get 2 shots that were of use and then the weather gods turned on me and so did my missus .

I had a look at the link, for me your photo out shines the ones in the link. The texture of the stones give off some type of eerie mood.

I was there just a few days ago. Plenty of tourists but nothing by comparison with Stonehenge, hence Callanish is totally accessible. My pics are very ordinary by comparison with these. Congratulations on excellent results, totally in keeping with the subject.

I must learn how to do HRD. As well.

The HDR sauce can give photos that extra zipp bang but i am learning that it certainly has its place and is not for every shot. Used correctly, as in some of darthkindy's shots and these i think it can be very very effective. Sometimes it looks very false.

Use of HDR in these shots turned out to be pretty effective. Nicely done!
