In the end of february I've been to Hong Kong and it really is an impressive city! I'd love to get there again in the future :)

The view upon my first hotel there - even at night it's not *really* dark there. Maybe it's because I'm from a 50k people town and not from a 7 Mio people city but I've never seen such a bright sky at night.

The building that's disappearing in the clouds is the 5th highest building in the world and the highest building in Hong Kong. 484m high.

You really get a great view from some of the skyscrapers!

Looking at the EXIF data I think I've used the Sigma 12-24mm quite often...

At night the clouds weren't disturbing too much (well - the highest buildings were cut off by the clouds but... ;) ) but I'd have loved to see some sun to get some nicer pictures that were not shot at night ;)

And I had my analog camera with me! Really! Why? It's full frame and works with the full 12mm of the Sigma lens!

Some buildings could act as mirrors:

And a last shot for the moment - I really like this one as it shows how Hong Kong looks: a lot of people, a lot of advertisement, a lot of traffic, summary: a LOT.

Yeah - I really want to visit that city again (usually I don't really like big cities but I kinda fell in love with this one). :D

Well... my personal favorite is #3. I think I should have used a tripod when shooting the second one. This way I could have kept the ISO down and then a slightly longer exposure could have given a bit more detail in the dark parts...
