Hi, I'm Dave from Queensland.
Can I start by saying I did not know this site existed until I bought my D7000 this weekend.
I looked for some in-depth reviews and came across Gordon's four videos on the camera.
I know they were made in 2010 but it was as if I'd just found a personal trainer.
I'm guessing that there have been many positive responses to this excellent review idea in the past but I' just like to add mine.
Thank you Gordon.

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the forums

The site is probably the best and most informative forum you can get and the most objective reviews ever.

As for the camera, its a great bit of kit - really functional to use for studio photos. ITs great for sports but not for prolonged bursts though - but other than that issue, its a great camera that can see in the dark!

I hope you enjoy the camera and this site - welcome again.
