Well in the event it went together a lot easier than I was expecting. A few tiny bits to sort out but here's a negative B&W version so you can scroll around the galaxies. All the way from M58 bottom left to M100 at the top - so this is a biggy. In fact Astrometry.net just silently crashed on me so I'll have to try and re-run it in a moment. Enjoy grin01 grin01

Hi Greg,

Quite a panorama.

Back in the days of film inverted images were more common but I'm intrigued that you choose to present your images that way. Opening the full sized JPEG from Flickr and inverting it to show a normal view doesn't do the image any favours, even after correcting the black level, but I'm guessing there's more depth in the originals than the inverted JPEG is allowing through.

Update: Ah, I see you've created yet another thread (one thread per rendition of the same area ) with a more normal view.
