My apologies in advance if you've seen this video series before, but I thought it was interesting. I can more appreciate the price of Canon's lenses after seeing the raw materials, manual labor and energy requirements it takes to produce one. Right now, the lens they're making sells for about $7,000 US. Wow. If you like the show "How It's Made" you'll like this. LOL

Quite interesting video
The way he keeps saying "Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM lens" is also a bit funny

This video style was the kind you normally see in the late 80's and early 90's.

Excellent video too - gives me faith in the Canon lens system. For a long time, Nikon in the 80's could have only dreamed of a production line like this, and of course, Olympus was decades ahead at this time - just a shame they arent a big header in the high end lens makers now... Such a big shame.

FujiFilm is making their commercials sound like the music and robotic man on Canon.

Yea, we just have to understand that in Japan, the music is reminicent of Bhuto Theatre - and that orchestral piano etc music is synonymous of futuristic - because of western influence, where as we hear that and think old fashioned and old.

still kinda funny.
