Just saw this posting on FB from Make Use Of. While >50% of the time the information they provide is not really new or exciting, when I saw this I knew I had to share it. I did search the forums and could not find another link to this or the related sub links.
Make Use Of recently posted an article with links and descriptions of 3 Online Camera Simulators. I've been reading books and while I'm starting to understand more about focal lengths, f-stop, etc. my first impression of these simulators was "wow". This can help those of us who are starting out and may not see where/when/how various settings affect our shots.
Here is the link to the article: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/3-online-camera-simulators-photography-beginners/
Here are the links to the individual simulators (if you don't want to see the makeuseof article)

The last one is available as an iPhone app.
Hope others find this as useful as I did. Nice to take the excellent advice found on the main site and in the forums and try them out so to speak to learn a bit more.
