I just took a look at your London shots...Great collection... I like the woman in red...
But I would also like to point out that every single STREET picture you have taken has a SAFE element to it. If you look at them no one could question the direction you were pointing the camera. Behind each scene is a safe building object or sight seeing location. London is filled with SAFE places to point a camera and no one will question why a man is stood in the street pointing a camera in their direction...they would simply assume you are taking a picture of the something behind them.
And yes being a small market town I am sure I can find buildings of historic value to point the camera at so that if anyone asked what I was doing I could simply pass it off as a picture of the building.
But surely that in itself is a get out. from the true nature of street photography...almost as stealthy as STEALTH photography. I am not trying to pick fault with the methods used. But to do similar in my town may get me lynched unless I can either bold as brass stand there and do it....(which I will).....or use some other SAFE method.
None of this is truly relevant but I feel it kind of needs a mention. Yes in some cultures people - Tourists - can walk around taking random pictures and no one cares... And yes I can put on my tourist disguise and go into town...But there may be issue even with that approach.
So we will see how my expedition to the outer reaches of safety will take me....lol
