I mean 3k for petes sake that's just outrageous when the Nikon out specs it in several areas most notably pixel count.
Keep in mind that the Nikon D800 can no longer claim better noise with that many MP in a FF sensor when the 1DX has better performance in noise, just Imagine what the 5d3 can produce. Canon did the right thing with keeping it at 22.3MP
And one thing I learned quickly in the feild and in this forum, specs mean nothing if it doesnt work. I mean the D7000 sports 7fps but its pointless if it only lasts for 3 seconds in jpeg.
the D800 looks great on paper but I have seen Nikon come short in the past - and the recent D7000 is a good example that on paper is on paper, in the feild, we will see - so I will hold my criticism until more users submit their experiences.
