This is the sort of image that I have wanted to create since starting this game :D The last two nights have been pefect conditions here in sunny Brockenhurst and they allowed me to grab plenty of time on the Trumpler 5/IC2169 regions with two Hyperstar III frames of around 3 hours for each frame. I already had the Cone nebula data to hand. Now, rather by pure luck than any sort of skill I somehow managed to bolt all this lot together without lines appearing all over the place. Don't ask me how, I haven't a clue. Anyway - the result is - a deep-sky panorama of the Cone nebula and Christmas Tree cluster, Trumpler 5, IC2169 and a ton of dark nebulosity - and all with a Milky Way background (where you can see it through all the gas and dust). Enjoy :D :D

They told me that the greatest praise that a Brit can give is “Not bad at all”, but because I’m not one, I’ll say smashing!
