Just bought the ebook. Wow. Really helpful and easy to read. I've not seen anything that goes into just about every detail like this book does. It goes into camera settings and everything, but more useful I suppose if you have a Canon camera (which I don't) but it translates over the same anyway, its just all the menu pictures are Canon. I also love how it shows you the histogram of each shot. Well worth the money.

I've just downloaded my own copy. Only time for a quick glance so far but I'm already mightily impressed. The photos alone are worth the price of admission and with loads of expert advice in the accompanying text the book is a real steal.

Another one sold. A very quick look through and I am already impressed. No doubt I will learn a lot from reading this and hopefully it will inspire me to go out and photograph some French landscapes!

About 1/3 through the book i had to lay it down and unload some of the new found and revised nuggets i've acquired. Expertise of the authors is delightful. This may as well be a field manual or journal, as the format teaches like you are already on site and setting up for a shot, like channeling a coach(s). This is a good style, since most of the tutorial images cannot be captured from a desk!?

I don't enjoy studying text from a computer monitor and was hesitant about printing out 86 pages which include plenty of large photos, but it didn't soak up as much ink on non-photo paper and regular settings as i thought it might. Estimate perhaps $3.00 - $5.00 USD in materials - and my old printer is still functioning.
