Hi folks,

My German is somewhere between sketchy and non-existent but there's a 45 minute video on YouTube which you can find at Die Leica-Geschichte where the language barrier doesn't seem to matter. Enjoy.

Thanks for the link!

The german in this video isn't that hard to follow imho, I'd recommend everyone to give it a try :)
The narrator doesn't use very complicated german, and speaks in a clear manner.

Interesting to see how the Leica's actually started as a light meter for film (moving picture) cameras.

Thank you Bob for the link, couldn't have thought of a better way to wind down after an evening of work.

It was great to recognize parts of the factory and the towns around it, and the German wasn't too much of a problem (for us Dutchies especially).
