I felt quite badly not voting for Batman, but i had to go with Kimchi. I'm a sucker for sunsets, smack in an silhouette and you've got me locked down.

I’d like March’s assignment to focus on the genre of street photography.

Extra rules: Focal length must be 50mm or less in 35mm terms, so please include some EXIF data in your description.

Wikipedia: Street photography is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions and other settings.

Post-processing: Many people think street photography should capture the raw street culture as-is with no processing or even cropping. I disagree. Street photography lends itself well to B&W which in itself is a form of post-processing. I don’t want any limitations on post-processing so you are only limited your interpretation of the genre - colour or B&W.

Cool theme Kimchi, congrats on ur win!!

Sorry, Im new to this photo stuff, when u say 50mm in 35mm terms, does that mean 50mm on a full frame lens?? Therefore since I use a d7000 and its a dx i would need to shoot 32-33mm due to 1.5X factor?? Could someone clarify please. Thanks.

I think it would work like this for DSLRs:
Full-frame: 50mm
most cropped sensor DSLRs & Sony Nex: ~32mm
Olympus/Panasonic 4/3: 25mm

Sensor size for compact cameras vary and so would the equivalent focal length.

It's usually apparent from the image whether it's wide/normal or zoomed-in.

I hope it's not too complicated but I'd like the restriction to be in the spirit of "classic" focal lengths for street photography and to encourage people new to the genre to avoid the temptation to zoom in from a safe distance and get in close.
