Post subject: AF issues in Canon 7D
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 12:32 pm

Is there any way that the black rectangles which form on the viewfinder can be dropped once the subject is in focus on Canon 7D? Once autofocus is achieved, the rectangles just stay there making it impossible to properly compose the portraits sometimes - my biggest whinge on the 7D probably.

Finding this to be a very big irritant in an otherwise good autofocus system. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

you can turn it off in menu under custom function 3, select Disable for "Display all AF points"
