Adobe has released Lightroom 4 Beta free for download. I've never used Lightroom but sounds like it may have some benefits in my post production over just using Photoshop so I'm going to give it a shot.

Thanks for the information Mike. I was thinking about getting Lightroom for my new mac along with the Adobe Master Collection (not sure why Lightroom isn't included in this) so will definitely wait. In terms of how it will improve your post production over photoshop is only really when you are taking lots of photos under the same conditions. Batch production allows you to apply the same settings to multiple photos which is a real time saver. However it is a great piece of software for organising and managing photos.

That's why I want to look into it. I have the Master Suite CS5 and think as well, why Lightroom is not included. It has Elements which isn't that just a scaled down version of Photoshop? Why have both of those and not Lightroom. Anyway, I haven't been doing my post work like I need to so I was going to see if Lightroom might help for some batches that have same settings. Also organization. I've been trying it in Bridge and just not happy.
